I went to watch "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" again for the second time yesterday.
Actually i was being tempted by this set of postcards.
昨天去看了<初戀紅豆冰>, 第二次看.
其實, 是為了這一組明信片.
Haha.., hopefully with all the promotion events and testimonials from the celebrities, this homemade film will hit the box office in Taiwan.
希望在那麼多的宣傳活動以及眾多明星好友的加持下, 這部家鄉的電影, 能夠在台灣發光發熱!

Sherlock Holmes 夏洛克·福爾摩斯

Yeah, i went to watch the movie "Sherlock Holmes" today with Michael.
It is quite nice! The plots of Sherlock Holmes partnering with Dr. John Watson in solving the crime mysteries indeed very dramatic and adventurous.
Actually, i obtained the complete 7 seasons of the drama series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" produced by Granada two months ago. However, Holmes in the movie doesn't appeared same as the drama series one, so as Dr. Watson. I was thinking the other way round when i saw the movie's poster for the first time last month.
I like the street view of Baker Street, perhaps i should go to visit London in the future to visit the museum there.
耶, 今天跟大叔去看福爾摩斯, 好看!
福爾摩斯跟華生一起解決各種懸疑案的劇情, 除了歷險又具有戲劇性.
其實, 在兩個月前已經要到福爾摩斯全七季的影集系列. 可是,電影裡的福爾摩斯和華生並不像影集中的形象, 當出看到海報時還以為他們的角色是顛倒的.
我喜歡貝克街的街景, 也許下次去倫敦的時候要去參觀那間博物館.

Yasmin Ahmad, a film director, writer and scriptwriter from Malaysia passed away on Saturday due to stroke. She was well-known for her TV commercials and films in which they contain many hidden meaningful messages especially on family, cultural, racial and religious issues in Malaysia...

Slumdog Millionaire

So nice of TIGP, Academia Sinica. We were invited for the latest blockbuster Slumdog Millionaire for free at Vie Show Cinemas yesterday night. Another way of being a sugar daddy?
FYI, watching movie in cinema is very exensive in Taiwan compared to Malaysia, average price for a movie cost for NT220-300 which is around RM22-30. We only get RM8-10 for nice seat movie at GSC or TGV in Malaysia… And of course i requested for two movie tickets, hahaha...
(probably TIGP has a lot of Indian students, because initially people taught TIGP stands for "Taiwan-India Graduate Programme" instead of Taiwan International Graduate Program...)
Alright, back to the story...
The movie was nice, when you watch, it made me thinking back the once famous Malaysian version of WWTBAM TV in Malay and Mandarin, but i dislike one of the hosts.
The purpose of Jamal entering WWTBAM was to grab the attention of his love one as he knew she likes this show. It was written for him to win up to one thousand rupees. Anyway, watching this movie makes me understand more on Indian culture besides those available in Malaysia.
Slumdog millionaire, whole theatre full of Academia Sinica people, luckily empress was not there...
