Recently, i have moved to a new house.
I moved out from dorm officially in March but have to move out from where i stayed in the mid of June due tio some inevidable problems. Getting a good place to stay is difficult for me, as i have some requirements for the place i stay. So finally i found a house nearby.

Thanks to Sunny for the complimentary tickets from his collegue's friend's friend. We went to Taipei Arena for the concert on Saturday night. Wow, i never expect that she is that popular, so many people gather outside of the concert hall on rainy day. Of course if you will go for the concert no matter what if you have purchased the ticket, unless they cancelled the show.
These were the celebrities we met while waiting to enter the concert hall.

Photographs were prohibited in the concert hall, however i managed to capture some before the concert starts.
We were not familiar with her songs actually, however we do know her debut album song "Stary Sky". She sang this song with Eason Chan, her guest for the concert. this is the first time i watch Eason sing live in a concert.
This is taken with Windson, one of the actors of Permanent Residents outside of the concert hall. I met him on the way back to the hall from washroom.

Things to do recently

There are so many dramatic changes in my life in these few days, and i have to be decisive and focus enough on what i have to do within these short time. Perhaps i am do tension until my libido became low.
I have to move to a new place as soon as possible before 15th of June.
It is a bit rush for me as i do not want to simply get a room and stay. Initially i have promised my Malaysian friends to to rent an apartment and we stay together as a family. Since it is not possible for them to move out from the dorm at the moment, so i have to get myself a room to stay somewhere nearby. I wish to get a clean and homey place, but most of the rooms nearby were not up to my expectation besides high rental. Anyway, i will do my best to get myself a homey place and move in as soon as possible.
Besides, i have to produce results for my poster presentation in next 2 weeks, and i am flying back Malaysia on the same weekend. If i do not managed to get a conclusive result within these few days, empress has agreed yesterday to let me using the old results for the poster content. Okay, at least i can relieve a bit.
Why i have to move again since i just moved out officially from the dorm in March?
It is a long story for the reasons i moved there...
Although i saved a sum of money by paying nothing for the house rental, in return i get to know a irresponsible and flip-flop person in these few months. However, i gained a god brother who are caring and considerate.
Do i sounds like gaining instead of losing?
Whatever it is, i need find a good place and move in as soon as possible. I do not want a temporary stay, as i have a lot of belongings and moving is not a good exercise or game.

It has been long time i didn't cook anything ever since i moved to this new place. Cooking instant noodles is not counted okay...
So i invite Kris Allen (not the one who won the American Idol recently) to come over my place for dinner yesterday. He came here all the way from far but get-off from the bus at the wrong stop, so he had to walk farther to reach my house. Haha...
自從搬了新家, 都沒有親自下廚煮過東西吃. 煮泡麵不算啦... 所以昨天晚上我約了羅康力來我家吃我煮的東西. 他千里迢迢過來, 可是卻不小心在錯的站牌下車, 結果害他走了很遠的路才來到我家... 呵!
Just some simple dishes: mushroom curry, vegetables and onion egg.
就一些簡單的菜餚: 香菇咖哩, 青菜和洋蔥煎蛋.

Taipei Zoo 台北動物園

Never been to Taipei Zoo ever since i came here 3 years ago, so Sunny and i decided to go there for a look. Today is the adjusted holiday in conjunction with the Dragon Boat Festival, so obviously the zoo is crowded. The entrance fee is not expensive, i got a student's price ticket for NT30 whereas the normal ticket costs for NT60.
Actually it was indeed a walking exercise while visiting the zoo, we walked all over the places just to see the animals. Of all the animals, i like penguins, tigers, Malayan tapir, pony and antelope.
來了台北快三年了, 我都沒有去過台北的動物園. Sunny今天約我前往, 當然很快就答應了. 盡甜是端午節的連假, 所以動物園人山人海. 入門票沒有很貴, 我買了學生票台幣30塊, 普通票則是台幣60塊.
參觀動物園, 其實是徒步運動, 我們必須搭乘11號車遊走整個園區.
看了那麼多的動物, 我最喜歡看的是企鵝, 老虎, 馬來貘, 小馬還有羚羊
We managed to see the pandas "Tuan-tuan" and "Yuan-yuan" (literally reunion) on the way back to the main entrance. People are so excited as the zoo released the panda to the outdoor area for let everyone sees them. They were kept inside the building and people need to register themselves in order to get the limited entrance to see the pandas. I was happy even though just managed to see them from far.
在走出大門口的時候, 我們看到了團團跟圓圓的廬山真面目. 原本牠們是在展覽館內的, 而每天可以入館參觀的人數也有限, 所以熊貓被放出室外來玩, 讓每個人圍觀的人都很興奮. 雖然只能從遠處看熊貓, 可是我也很滿足了.

We then went to the town for dinner and wandered around the town after that. I bought 3 shirt pants for NT1000 from 3 different shops. Summer is coming, it is time to wear short pants once a while under the hot sun instead of wearing long pants everyday.
過後我們回到台北吃晚餐, 然後到處逛逛. 我各別在不同的地方買了三條短褲, 花了一千塊. 夏天來了, 大熱天偶爾可以穿短褲, 不必每天都穿長褲.

Dragonboat Festival

Today is the Dragon boat Festival (端午節), a Chinese traditional and statutory holiday. It falls on the fifth day of fifth month in Chinese Lunar Calendar (農曆五月初五). This festival was originated from ancient China. The best and most widely known legend related to the death by suicide of Qu Yuan (屈原)(c. 340 BC – 278 BC) in 278 BC during Warring States period (戰國時代). The details of this festival have been explained by myself and Susan during the GSA Summer Party last Friday.
We gathered at the bus stop in the morning and travelled to Nangang 南港 MRT Station heading to Zhongxiao Fuxing 忠孝復興 MRT Station. There was shuttle bus provided to the Taipei Dragon Boat Festival 2009 (臺北水岸 2009聽奧端午嘉年華) venue. The weather today was nice, windy but not sunny. There were lots of booths selling food, promoting Deaflympics 聽障奧運 and the festivals. We stopped by the racing venue for a while after having some snacks at the booth area.
I found it quite boring, perhaps i like this festival because of the rice dumpling 粽子 and holiday. So next time when you want to commit suicide, make sure your suicide day will become a public holiday, if not do not simply die. If you have the courage to take away your life, why not live with it?
I saw team from Malaysia was taking part in the race, i went to talk to them. I wished them all the best.

We then walked back to the bus stop and decided to go to Beitou. While getting the free Coke, we actually missed the bus to Yuanshan MRT station, so we decided to get into the same bus back to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station. When we arrived at the station, someone suggested why not we go to Maokong instead, since most of us never been there before, so we took the MRT to Taipei Zoo and head to Maokong by bus.
We stopped by McDonald's for simple lunch.
I was having car sick along the journey, she has to improve her driving skill while ascending the road. We then got off at the Yao-Yue Teahouse (邀月茶坊) recommended by the bus driver.
Wow, the environment was very nice and tranquilising. We ordered two different types of tea, the "Oriental Beauty 東方美人" (Oolong) and "Biluochun 碧羅春" (green tea). Most of us prefer the Oriental Beauty. The snacks were nice to eat, and special. We chatted for few hours and decided to went back for dinner.
This is our first non-official GSA activity, ha! We just realised that seven of us were actually came from six different countries, Malaysia, Taiwan, Germany, France, India and USA. What a multinational combination, we can travel the whole world easily.
We finally had our dinner at Cape No. 47 at Nankang. The food was quite delicious, but i found it was a bit oily.
We called it a day.
Hmmm, we should hang out more often.

GSA Summer Party

We were having a GSA Summer Party in the TIGP dorm on yesterday. It was the opening party for our Spanish and French language and culture clubs. I was responsible for giving a brief introduction on the Dragon boat Festival, together with Susan. I invited Keith and his friend Eric as my invited guests. We offered food and drinks from different countries (including Mexican tortilla chips, French cheese, spicy Indian snacks, Taiwanese local dishes and the rice dumpling, zongzi).
The language, Yoga and Salsa dance teaching were interesting. We also had quiz and games sessions and everyone was enjoying.
Organising a party is tiring, but seeing people are enjoying very much during the party, we felt relieved and satisfied. I wish this kind of activities will became the regular activities for GSA to promote the cultural exchange between local and international students, adding some spice for the graduate life here.

This is probably the most expensive gardening area in Taiwan, the farm is located near Taipei 101... The owner should consider selling the land, perhaps s/he is rich and enjoy gardening very much.
這裡也許是全臺灣最貴的菜園, 菜園地段坐落在台北101附近.
地主可以考慮把地賣掉, 不過也許他喜歡園藝多於錢.

Weekend in Taipei 臺北的週末
This is taken in the school compound of NHHS, Formosan Blue Magpie.
It is an endemic species only found in the mountains of Taiwan.
The exist in groups and quicky moved away from human. They will try to attack human if they found their distance is too close.
I was being hit by its long tail when trying to take their pictures. These are the good pictures i took.

台灣藍鵲通常都成群棲息在樹林中. 它們具有強烈的護巢行為, 當與人類的距離太近的時候, 它們會攻擊或飛向高處.
在拍照的時候, 還被它們用尾巴打我的頭. 這是我拍到的最好看的.

With the magic of mascara and eyelashes by make-up artist, she changed from Rainie Yang to Fish Leong, really amazing.., really looked like a celebrity.
No wonder last time Chuen Yi was eager to take her bridal photos here, now she can take together with Abigail.
在台北車站的微風廣場找立威跟茵麗. 她千里迢迢來台北拍婚紗照, 順便玩個幾天. 化妝師利用睫毛膏與假睫毛的魔法, 將她的眼睛從楊丞琳的變成梁靜茹的, 真神奇, 好像一個大明星. 難怪均怡以前都嚷著說要來臺灣拍婚紗照, 如今她可以跟雨喬一塊兒來了.

Recently i found that it is hard to trust anyone, i mean my friends, especially these days people are chatting through Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Skype and etc.
The content of the conversation has been copy and paste to third party. So, what you have told and comment on something is being seen by third party especially those who are not suppose to know anything on what you said.
I have done this before and has been warned by one of my friends, he said if the person knew what i have done, it might be the end of the friendship. So since that day, i have never do that again.
最近我發現周遭的人都很難讓我去相信他們, 尤其是目前最夯的網路線上聊天, 如MSN, 即時通, 孤狗, Skype等.
跟朋友的聊天內容, 會被剪貼到另一個人的聊天視窗, 尤其是有些內容是不應該讓第三者知道的.
從前我也做過類似的事, 後來有個朋友阿元警告我說, 如果這些舉動被他人知道後, 那麼兩個人得友情就會受到考驗, 我可不能把跟朋友之間的感情開玩笑. 自從那次以後, 我就沒有再做過類似的事了.

And one day, Chun called to tell me that he heard something bad about me out there, people are gossipping about my life style and behavior. Darn, he heard from someone who is just a hi-bye friend of mine. The person knows nothing about me but my name. What is your intention to slander me in front of friends? Chun told me not to trust anyone, and do not tell anyone on what i have done especially those i do not want others to know about, obviously someone had spread the rumour. Now i am so confused, what are friends for?
那麼, 你也許會面對面跟朋友聊些事情, 甚至告訴他某些秘密. 直到有一天, 大鼎打電話跟我說, 聽到外面有人傳我的不是, 說我的私生活以及行為不太好. 幹, 最扯的是那個人只是一個普通的朋友, 他除了知道我叫阿源外就什麼都不知道, 憑什麼給我這樣的評價!? 還在那麼多朋友面前. 大鼎叫我不要相信太多的人, 也不要輕易向別人提起某些事情, 尤其是那些不想讓別人知道的事, 很明顯這些是被人亂傳出去的. 我很困擾了, 那朋友是要來幹嘛的?
I have been telling what other people told me to third party before, and thinking that was just secret sharing among good friends. Obviously i was wrong, that was unethical. Your friends trusted you and that's why they told you, and in return you were telling some third parties. So now i got my karma of "betraying" my friends, what i give is what i get return.
也許我曾經把別人告訴我的事情告訴第三者, 當時還以為這是好朋友之間的秘密交換. 很明顯的, 我錯了! 那是很不道德的事! 朋友相信你, 才把他們的事情告訴你, 而你去把它告訴第三者. 所以我現在算是為我對朋友的背叛與出買二付出一點代價了.
Some people told me that is just different perception and point of view for diffeent people. What you think is okay might not be okay for others, and vice versa.
每個人對事情都有不同的認知與觀點. 你能夠接受的事情, 別人不一定能夠接受; 相對的別人能夠接受的事情, 我們也未必能夠接受.
I have been learning on how to deal with everyone, especially to those who doesn't share common interest with me. I believe everyone is identical and we have to learn on how to live together with different kind of people. By following this phylosophy, i am blessed to have some good buddies who always care for me. But now, i think i have to keep distance with certain people, not to accept everyone into your life. They might ruin your life.
一直以來, 我都學習去跟每個人好好相處, 尤其是那些跟我話不投機的人. 我相信每個人都是不同的個體, 我們必須在生活中學會包容每一個人, 好好跟每一個人相處. 本著這樣的信念, 我得到不少關心我的好朋友. 但是現在, 我覺得還是有必要跟某些人保持距離, 不要把自己的生活大門打開讓每個人都進來. 有些人會把你的生活弄得一團糟.
Besides necessary rationale, i will just stick to my intuition to judge on certain matter. For those exceptional cases who has been screened out by me in the future, very sorry, that's the reality. If we are meant to be friends, time will tell that we should become good buddies.
所以, 除了有必要的理性外, 我會依照我的直覺去判斷事情. 若有些事情是我判斷錯誤, 很抱歉, 因為現實世界也是這樣的. 如果我們有緣, 時間會告訴我們彼此, 說我們應該要成為好朋友.

It's been long time i didn't go for exercise. Although my mild fatty liver is gone, but i still have to exercise more for a healthier body.
Today i went to Mark's school for swimming.
Wow, good facility.
很久沒運動了, 雖然脂肪肝無故消失了, 可是為了健康還是要運動的.
今天跟家維到他學校游泳.

Now the Scottish Susan Boyle has became popular for everyone after she sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables in the competition of Britian's Got Talent on 11 April 2009. Everyone laughed at her waiting to see how this lady is going to embarrass herself later, but she really made everyone jaw-dropping and eye-popping!
